Company Overview:
The Neighborhood Group (TNG) is a dedicated provider of high-quality after-school enrichment programs designed to empower and educate students, revealing life and industry secrets, that will give them confidence in their ability to live a better quality of life. Founded in 2023, with decades of experience in the areas in which we teach, our mission is to inspire, engage, and nurture the potential of every child by offering a safe, enjoyable and enriching learning environment outside of regular school hours.
Core Competencies:
Our program is dedicated to offering courses that profoundly impact individuals’ daily lives, providing knowledge that nurtures holistic well being encompassing physical, mental, spiritual, and financial dimensions.
· “Life Management”: This course delves into the intricate relationship between mind and body, empowering participants to comprehend and exercise control over negative emotions that often lead to stress.
· “Mastering Your Credit”: This enlightening course unveils the structure and regulations governing our credit system, equipping individuals with the knowledge to enhance their quality of life.
· “Entrepreneur Programs: Our comprehensive entrepreneur programs elucidate business structures and processes, enabling participants to grasp the principals of building generational wealth.
Our dedicated and highly qualified instructors lead these courses, each certified in their respective areas through TNG’s rigorous “Train the Trainer’ program. We take pride in our ability to collaborate with professionals from diverse fields such as dance, music, radio broadcasting, and more, enriching the learning experience.
At TNG, we are unwavering in our commitment to fostering a fair, enjoyable, safe, and health-focused environment for both our students and instructors. To maintain this standard, all our instructors undergo thorough background checks.
Remarkably, the impact of our courses extends beyond our students to their families, as even parents find themselves more engaged and communicative, thanks to the transformative content we offer.
Past Performance:
In the early 2000’s, our organization at the time “Unlimited Entertainment Inc.”, proudly served as a Community Base Organization (CBO) under a multi-year contract with the County of Los Angeles. Our primary mission was to deliver enriching after-school programs at probation sites, and our commitment to this endeavor yielded remarkable results. Notably, we distinguished ourselves through the implementation of a unique and highly effective incentive program that ignited a genuine enthusiasm among the participating children.
Our success did not go unnoticed. It was so impressive that the director of the SEA Charter schools’ expansive after-school program, encompassing 18 sites, extended a significant offer to us. They proposed that we assume the leadership of their program, with all other CBOs mandated to seek training through our organization. This offer underscored our standing as a trusted leader in the field.
However, at that juncture, we made a strategic decision to decline this opportunity. This choice was influenced by our ongoing accomplishments in our retail store program and some staffing considerations that demanded our attention. While we opted not to take on this particular role, our legacy of excellence in after-school programming remained undiminished.
